DYONICS Smith & Nephew Power II Control System 72200873.
The control system provides for variable speed operation of handpieces and powered instruments (i.e., drills, wire/pin drivers, sagittal saws). The control unit has two instrument ports, allowing for simultaneous use of two handpieces, two powered instruments, or a combination of a handpiece and a powered instrument. A footswitch connection port is also available and can be configured to drive the instrument connected to either Port A or Port B. The control unit displays user prompts and system diagnostic text.
A variety of disposable straight and curved surgical blades and burrs can be inserted into the shaver handpiece for various surgical requirements. Blade action can be controlled by either the handpiece or a footswitch, selecting forward, reverse, or oscillate. The control unit provides settings for minimum and maximum blade speeds, preprogrammed for each blade type.
